This time of the year we enjoy the longest day and shortest night of the year.
The girls gather 7 different types of flowers and lay under their pillow and of course they will dream of their future husband!
In South Florida this year as many years before the Swedes with friends got together to eat herring with potatoes, strawberry cake and drink "snaps" and dance around the Maypole. On the picture you see Anna by the Maypole.
Midsommar firar jag vanligtvis i Sverige, men i år var jag tillsammans med många svenskar här i Miami/Fort Lauderdale-området och firade vår svenska midsommartradition med allt som det innebär!
